Goliash Half Check Collar

New product

I love sunny days. Last time I played fetch in a meadow. It was fun. But then a hare dashed out. I dropped the stick and was right behind him. But my master didn’t share my enthusiasm for hunting. Today I’ve learned manners thanks to a Goliash half check collar with a chain from Slade Czech workshop made of 4mm cowhide. It’s decorated with a line of Clincher Links and three Staff Knots.

Forget the hare. You'd better learn to behave like a gentledog. Get a Goliash half check collar too: select the dimensions, colour of ironwork and leather.

How do I choose the correct half-check collar?

  • Double layer 8 mm thick collar made of 4 mm thick cowhide.
  • On a slip collar, the buckle fastening is replaced by a solid welded chain.
  • The collar is put on by pulling it over the dog's head.
  • Decorated in characteristic Staffie-style gold or silver coloured metalwork.
  • Adjustable straps with buckles allow lengthening or shortening of the collar by 6 cm.
  • Hand-stitched with strong waxed saddlery thread, embedded in grooves for protection against abrasion.
  • Differences in leather shade or design are not faults, but a guarantee of the genuineness of the natural material.
  • It is important to care for leather products. If not regularly treated, this can result in a shorter lifetime.
  • To keep leather soft and supple, we recommend waxing the collar before first wear with original Slade Czech Beeswax.
  • Tested on animals – especially dogs.

How do I measure a dog to choose the correct collar size?

  • Neck circumference is an important measurement for the manufacture of a check collar.
  • Measure the dog's neck circumference in the centre of the neck. Use a measuring tape, pulled tightly, so that it neither strangles nor is too loose. Do not add or subtract any centimetres.
  • The measured value corresponds to the "neck circumference" which you select when submitting your order.
  • A slip collar / half-check collar is not buckled, but is pulled over the head of the dog. It will encircle the neck tightly in the tightened state.
