When I'd learnt everything that a good dog must know, for the first time my master and I set out for a Dog Show. Wow! There were so many dogs there! And those overdressed girls! I wanted to say "hi" to all of them right away. But then I would have lost points. Fortunately, at that moment, my special show lead on which I was being led, scored. It kept me calm. You can also choose one.

Slade Czech show leads swivel — you can do doggie tricks without getting entangled. They are made of quality 4-mm cowhide, either thin or rounded, in a set including a fine collar. Some of them have a slip chain and snap-hook.

You will shine with a show lead or with the whole set including a collar. Ladies will probably choose a red or cream colour, gentlemen prefer grey, blue or black.

Show everyone what you are made of at the Dog Show – decide on one of 7 colours, choose the design and length. Bark at everyone!

I look forward to meeting you at a Dog Show. KenKen

HOW DO I MEASURE A DOG TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT COLLAR SIZE?

HOW DO I MEASURE A DOG TO CHOOSE THE CORRECT COLLAR SIZE?

Neck circumference is an important measurement for the manufacture of a classic collar. Measure the dog's neck circumference in the centre of the neck. Use a measuring tape, pulled tightly, so that it neither strangles nor is too loose. Do not add or subtract any centimetres. The measured value corresponds to the "neck circumference" which you select when submitting your order. The classic collar with a buckle contains 5 holes. The correctly measured neck circumference will enable the collar to be fastened in the middle hole.

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE CORRECT LENGTH AND WIDTH OF LEAD?

HOW DO I CHOOSE THE CORRECT LENGTH AND WIDTH OF LEAD?

A shorter, 61-cm lead is more suitable for Dog Shows. The classic 92 or 122 cm length is best for walks. The 180 cm or 220 cm lead is best suited for other activities, such as training and outings in the countryside. The lead width should correspond with the collar width.

For Dogs

Woof, Ken, where did you get such finery? marvelled a pretty Staffordshire Bull Terrier a few days ago. Since then, dressed to the nines, I regularly break girls’ hearts. A hand-stitched collar in fragrant cowhide decorated in shiny metal with a Staffordshire knot simply attracts the ladies.

Collarsleashes and other canine harness made by Slade Czech saddlers are also available in bright colours for canine ladies. Don’t forget a dog tag to complete the outfit.Take your pick.

Where's my collar? I wonder. I see the master has pinched it to wear like a bracelet. Again! So I asked the master saddlers and we devised leather accessories for humans too. Check out the bracelets in colourful cowhide, aromatic keyrings and keychainsleather wallets and coasters. Everything in Staffie style. Make your choice.
