My Own Original Beeswax Production
MY OWN ORIGINAL BEESWAX PRODUCTION
The period of research and testing is behind me, the time has come to write something about the production of Slade Czech Beeswax.
Years ago, when I was starting out in business, I first used the waxes and polishes commonly available in craft stores. Unfortunately, the polishes were full of chemicals, which somehow could not be reconciled with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials.
If you suppose that you can click on a store offering “Natural Waxes” and choose what you need, you are mistaken. Fatally.
You have to start looking, hunting and searching. Firstly, there is the recipe, then the additives and suppliers. I thought I had found what I needed and set to work.
As a complete beginner, I melted paraffin candles in a pot, and added various oils “by sight”. The result was a damaged pot and a greasy unusable dumpling on the bottom of it.
The turning point came after a visit to a local beekeeper, who helped and advised me. I took home the base for my own production – a plate of real, yellow, fragrant beeswax.
A separate chapter were admixtures exclusively from natural ingredients, almond oil, coconut oil, and the correct proportions of everything combined.
However, the countless experiments paid off. Today I can offer original and natural Slade Czech Beeswax.
Wax which softens leather perfectly, enhances its colour, texture, smooths the surface, protects against the effect of moisture and significantly extends the life of leather products.
