When I was a puppy, I was quite naughty. I wanted to learn good manners and so Slade Czech saddlers made a half check collar for me in their workshop. Then my master could always let me know when I was doing something wrong.

The collar has a chain instead of the classic fastening. Friends, I tried to rip up the collar with my paws, but it stayed on firmly. It is hand-stitched in triple-layer 8-mm thick cowhide.

To know my place, saddlers adorned my collar with the legendary Staffordshire Knot, a Clincher Link decorative metal finish and my name on the ID tag. Sometimes when my trainer was not watching, I tried to take my collar off. But I failed. The handiwork is thorough and detailed.

HOW TO MEASURE A DOG'S NECK FOR SELECTING THE RIGHT SIZE OF A CLASSIC COLLAR?
Neck circumference is an important measurement for the manufacture of a classic collar. Measure the dog's neck circumference in the centre of the neck. Use a measuring tape, pulled tightly, so that it neither strangles nor is too loose. Do not add or subtract any centimetres. The measured value corresponds to the "neck circumference" which you select when submitting your order. The classic collar with a buckle contains 5 holes. The correctly measured neck circumference will enable the collar to be fastened in the middle hole.

HOW TO MEASURE A DOG FOR SELECTING THE RIGHT SIZE OF HALF CHECK COLLARS?
This type of collar is not adjustable, so it is necessary to measure the size of the collar to be able to put it over the dog's head. Therefore, we measure the circumference of the head! A slip collar is loose around the dog's neck, but it can be tightened if necessary by pulling on it.
