Who we are We are TILE CZ s.r.o., known worldwide as Slade Czech. We are based in Ostrava at Konečného 1941/8 and registered in the Commercial Register at the Regional Court in Ostrava (Section C, File 16999). In short: not a random company, but a real team of leather lovers and precision handcraft. Our company ID is 25381067, if you’re into formalities.
Custom-made production = an exclusive piece just for you No stock items or universal sizes. You choose the color, dimensions, and design – and we make it exactly to your taste. As soon as payment is received, you’re added to our VIP customer list and our workshop gets to work.
Production time Right after the payment is credited, we grab the leather, needles, and rivets, and within 3–5 business days your piece is ready. No endless waiting: we’re fast, but meticulous.
Price All prices are listed in EUR, USD, or CZK – always including VAT. What you see is the final price, so no unpleasant surprises.
Payment Since this is strictly custom-made production, we require payment in advance by bank transfer to account no. 942907001/5500 (Raiffeisenbank). Once the money arrives, we dive straight into production.
We ship via Czech Post, Zásilkovna, or DHL – choose what suits you best. The postal service can be slower at times, while DHL is lightning-fast. With Zásilkovna, you can choose delivery to your door, a pickup point, or a pickup box, where you can collect your parcel even at midnight. Shipping costs depend on weight and destination country, and we always confirm the price with you when ordering.

We pack and ship at full throttle, but we cannot take responsibility for the speed of postal workers, couriers, or pickup boxes. Delivery times stated at checkout are indicative, not binding.
Withdrawal from the contract
You may cancel your order at any time before production begins.
Most Slade Czech products are individually made according to the customer's specifications, including selected measurements, colours, hardware, stitching, names, monograms, custom text, or other personalised features.
In accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.
For this reason, orders for custom-made products cannot be cancelled once production has started.

Warranty on leather products
❗ Choosing the right equipment is crucial ❗
Every dog is different, and not every product is suitable for every four-legged friend. A thin leather show leash is perfect for elegant presentation in the ring, but it definitely won’t withstand the pull of a fully charged tank dragging its owner behind. If your dog pulls like a steam locomotive or is known for having destroyed several leashes already, a sturdier option is a must.
The same applies to collars. A decorative 13 mm wide collar with delicate hardware looks fantastic on a calm dog enjoying strolls in the city park. But if you live with a fearless whirlwind that dives headfirst into every action, wrestles with dog buddies, and tests the limits of every piece of gear, you must expect some damage. Such mechanical damage caused by rough handling is not covered by warranty.
This also applies to decorations – they have their limits too. If they are damaged by biting or tearing out, the usual culprit is playful canine teeth during wild games with furry friends. Depending on the type of damage, this is considered mechanical wear and tear and unfortunately cannot be claimed as a defect. Every piece has its limits, and canine temperament can sometimes be stronger than any metal.
🛠 We provide an incredible 99-year warranty on workmanship and hidden material defects for our leather pieces. This means that if a seam comes apart, a rivet breaks, a joint loosens, or anything fails due to faulty workmanship or material, we will fix it – or make a brand-new piece. No receipt needed – we recognize our work even blindfolded.
📜 This voluntary 99-year warranty provided by TILE CZ s.r.o. does not affect or limit any statutory rights granted to consumers under applicable consumer protection laws.
❗ Our warranty does not cover natural aging of the material – leather is not plastic. Over time, leather changes color and texture, reacts to light, moisture, care (or lack thereof), and your everyday adventures. Patina, subtle color changes, or darkening are not defects – quite the opposite, they are signs of authenticity and life.
⚙️ The same applies to hardware. Metal oxidizes over time – especially brass, copper, and other unlacquered materials. It may darken, turn green, or develop a vintage look. This is a natural process, not a reason for complaint. If you want a consistent shine, we recommend regular care – or choosing lacquered or stainless options, if available.
🧰 And if something happens outside the warranty? Rough play, an accident, a sudden leash jerk, torn-out hardware? No problem – we can fix that too. Just send us photos of the damaged area and a few words about what happened. We’ll take a look, propose a solution, and send you the repair price.
🧾 All products that are not custom-made are covered by the standard statutory warranty of 24 months.
Complaints
Something didn’t go right? It happens – and we handle it fairly and without tricks.
To file a complaint, it is always necessary to send the product back to our address, together with a description of the issue. We need to physically receive the product in order to accurately determine what happened, assess the defect professionally, and ensure the same situation does not occur again in the future.
The customer is responsible for the cost of returning the product for inspection. If the complaint is accepted as justified, reasonable and demonstrable return shipping costs will be reimbursed.
At the same time, we don’t want defective products to remain in circulation and potentially damage the good name of the Slade Czech brand. Every piece that bears our name must bring joy – not embarrassment.
After receiving the claimed product, we will resolve the complaint no later than within 30 days. Depending on the nature of the issue, we will either repair the product or make a new piece, which we will send back without unnecessary delay.

Leather care Leather is not immortal. To serve you for years, it needs a bit of care – just like shoes or a good old leather jacket. 🧴 Occasionally treat it with leather balm or conditioner – ideally after rain or a bigger outdoor adventure. 🌧 Avoid extremes: heavy rain, muddy madness, open fire, or swimming in the sea – none of that is good for leather. 🎨 Minor color variations, wrinkles, or scars are not defects – they are proof of authenticity and originality.
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase contract concluded through the online store without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.
However, pursuant to Section 1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code, this right does not apply to goods manufactured according to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized to their individual needs. Most Slade Czech products fall into this category of custom-made goods.
